Deposit your checks on the go, wherever you go, with Sb1’s DeposZip mobile app. Limit your trips to the branch by taking a photo of a paper check on your mobile device via our free and secure DeposZip app. Your deposit will upload to the Sb1 checking or savings account you designate, and will be available the next business day. You can even use this mobile app to make loan payments!
Consider a check: it’s a piece of paper that contains your bank account information on it, instructing your bank to allow the bearer to withdraw a designated amount of your money from your account in Bank A and into their account in Bank B. Behind the scenes, your check is transported to a clearing house that collects and tallies all the checks moving between Bank A and Bank B in a given day. The clearing house performs a single transaction once a day to cover the amount of money changing hands. Since 2004, that process has been digitized, and banks would transfer digital images of checks, freeing them of the legal requirement of storing and transporting checks.
This means when you deposit a check with our DesposZip app, you’re doing exactly what a bank would do if you brought a check in for deposit at an Sb1 branch. We’ve made the check deposit process as streamlines as possible.
